


SSSLTD Terms and Conditions
INTRODUCTION
We have tried to reduce our terms and conditions of booking as we are confident that our clients will honor their contract with us and in return, we shall endeavor to ensure that all our obligations are fulfilled to the best of our abilities.
However, your attention is drawn to ensure you have fully understood the booking terms and conditions prior to signing your booking form.
MAKING YOUR BOOKING & YOUR CONTRACT
A completed and signed booking or registration form must accompany all booking applications.
Prior to the start date of the course, a deposit of 30% is required. Bookings made within 7 days of the start date require payment in full.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/DISCLAIMER
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from any matter outside the reasonable control of SSSLTD including (but not limited to) Acts of God, war, civil disturbances, force majeure, strikes or other industrial action, acts of third parties, activities on adjoining land including building works or the failure of public supplies including (but not limited to) electricity and water.
Where acts of third parties are involved, we shall in no circumstances be required to institute any form of legal process.
You understand the assumption of Risk with scuba diving , including decompression sickness, embolism, and drowning, IPO.
Remote Locations: Divers must acknowledge that many dive sites are remote and may lack immediate access to medical or hyperbaric facilities.
CANCELLATION
BY YOU
Should you wish to cancel or amend your training, once it has been accepted by us, we must have written instructions for that effect. Cancellation/amendment charges will become applicable as below.
Balances are due 1 week prior to commencement. If the balance is not received within 7 days of the due date cancellation may be assumed by SSSLTD with the following loss of deposits/ monies paid and /or cancellation charges, unless otherwise agreed.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your training we will offer you alternatives dates without any extra charges to you.
If the alternatives we offer you are not acceptable to you, please notify us in writing by return. We will the refund the monies paid to SSSLTD by you, but not any monies paid by you for flights, car hire, accommodation, dive site entry and any other payments SSSLTD cannot recover.
Such a payment is to constitute full and final settlement of all claims (if any) that you may have us against us in respect of cancellation.
DIVING QUALIFICATIONS
It is required by SSSLTD for every diver to produce their certification cards. It is also required by SSSLTD for divers to produce the certification card if the diver requires nitrox, trimix or oxygen. If the diver is diving a rebreather it is also required to produce certification for the specific unit that they are diving.
Divers, unless they are under training, must not exceed their maximum training depth or penetration limitations as per the diver’s certification card that has been produced.
Substance Use: Diving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Violators will be barred from diving without a refund.
INSURANCE
It is required by SSSLTD for every diver to have personal diving insurance. Please ensure you have insurance before departure which is valid for the full duration of your expedition or training schedule. If the training course is Instructor level it is necessary to have Professional Liability Insurance. You will not be allowed to dive without adequate insurance.
We also recommend you have adequate travel insurance.
Medical
All persons under training of SSSLTD must have an in-date dive medical or self-certification. Copies will need to be provided before enrolling on any course.
Completion of course
All courses offered by SSSLTD are governed by either PSAI or BSAC. All courses are performance based and to qualify the student must show competency as per the agency standards. If competency cannot be met during the course schedule, then the student will be offered extra teaching time, at their cost to the discretion of the instructor. Payment of course in full is not a guarantee of a qualification. Only with acceptable competency will a candidate be issued with certification.
Participants must follow all instructions from the dive supervisor and adhere to safe diving practices
